Where does Rice end up? Contract will be base salary + performance incentives with a behavioral clause.

What team needs a running back the most?

Eagles receive: RGIII, 2015 5th round pick

Redskins receive: 2015 3rd round pick

Foles is likely done in philly and with the recent success of Mark Sanchez I truly believe that Chip Kelly could turn RGIII back into the RGIII of his rookie year. He would be a good fit. Worth a shot.

Can't see the Redskins giving up on RGIII just yet, one more season at least. The main requirement for QB in the Eagles offense is intelligence so Foles stays! If he doesn't start hell prepare like a starter he's a team player with no ego issues. Ged

Completely agree with Ged. Sanchez is gone; Foles returns as soon as he's ready.

No matter how mant times you post it, the Jets still suck.
Griffin trade is a joke

You think John Harbaugh is going to leave the Ravens for the Jets?!

Chris Ivory before Spiller? I don't see it. I don't think that they can bring in all those free agents. And give up of the RG3 trade.

Eagles Mock:
Round One - Bernardick Mckinney
Demeco Ryans' heir whether or not he comes back next year

Round Two - Alex Carter
Adresses MUCH NEEDED secondary problems

Round Three - Jake Fisher
Oregon product on the o-line. Todd herremans' replacement

Round Four - Jordan Richards
Safety to take over for Nate Allen

Round Four - Deontay Greenberry
Adding another wide receiver for depth

Fins take Fisher before them in the 3rd round

The Eagles would take a CB in the 1st Eckre Olamu maybe if he's still there? Ged

Nobody really wants ifo after his injury

Seattle Seahawks three round mock

1) Sammie Coates WR Auburn
Trading away harvin and the reports that lynch will be gone next year, the seahawks need a playmaker and a WR. Doug baldwin is not a #1

2) Carl Davis DT Iowa

The seahwaks need help in the middle of their defense and kevin williams is not a long term answer.

3) Jeremy Langford RB Michigan State

With lynch most likely gone, the seahawks should target a RB in the first 3 rounds. They can go with Michael/Turbin/Langford

03 Nov 2014 08:25:38
De Meco Ryan's injured! Eagles should consider Ernie Sims as cover. He's available and brings experience tithe position as a short term fix!

2015 offseason trade ideas

Jets and Falcons;

Jets get: CB Desmond Trufant and 2015 second round pick
Falcons get: TE Jeff Cumberland, LB David Harris

Ridiculous. Cumberland and Harris alone would not get you anywhere near Trufant let alone Trufant and a 2nd rounder.

Even though Harvin is a unbelievable athlete he was ruining the chemistry in the locker room so I'm glad he is gone. With that being said Seattle should trade for a new weapon on offense or two before the deadline to help out Wilson and lynch on offense.

1) Sea-Tb

Seattle gets: WR Vincent Jackson

Tampa Bay gets: 2015 4th rnd pick, 2016 5th rnd pick (turns into a 4th rnd pick on production

Tampa gets another pick to use in what looks to be a tank year for them they can use to rebuild their team

2) Sea-Cin

Seattle gets: TE Jermaine Gresham, 7th rnd pick

Cincinnati gets: TE Cooper Helfet, 6th rnd pick

Cincinnati gets a cheap rookie backup to put behind their future TE Tyler Eifrit. Also get a 6th rnd pick

Seattle gets a legit deep threat wide out in Jackson. He will give Wilson a reliable target he has missed this season since Tate left to Detroit. And with Miller going down with an injury, Wilson gets a new security blanket in Jermaine Gresham. Gresham is a very talented TE who lost his starting job to a more talented player in Eifert. With Seattle's o-line better now with Okung healthy and rookie Britt and now Seattle has a better throwing game with the additions of Jackson and Gresham, the offense will be a lot better and not to mention they will have plenty of help from their defense.

Seattle has had a rough start but will be back on pace in no time after these trades

Jackson will bring back way more than that.

A third round pick at least

Dolphins

Wow, as if the NFL haven't upset enough people lately, now they are upsetting the world's population of Muslims! How can you penalise a player for praying to Allah when Christian players are never penalised for praying to their God after a TD? They really need lessons in PR.

30 Sep 2014 10:57:35
at this rate there will be no NFL players left, they will all be banned for assaulting someone weaker than themselves! Is this the result of the abuse of steroids?

28 Sep 2014 09:54:08
With the revelations the NFL hire private investigators, among other measures, to keep tabs on players who are in Vegas, isn't that a bit embarrassing when they are trying to pretend they didn't know the full facts in the Ray Rice case? Surely that lie has been exposed completely now and Goodell has to resign?

24 Sep 2014 07:20:06
So the NFL have hired Robert Mueller to lead in 'independent' investigation into how it handled the domestic violence issues it has faced. How on earth does an ex-FBI director become the go to for incidences of domestic violence? Do the FBI even deal with cases of domestic violence? What expertise will this guy bring to the party? Just seems a case of let's do something to shut everyone up about it and show we are trying to improve things, rather than a genuine attempt to make the NFL a better place.

21 Sep 2014 12:21:32
Would a moral code actually make any difference to the players? I mean surely any one other than a complete person knows better than to beat their partner, what difference will having a code of conduct make? Would it have stopped Rice violently attacking his partner? I doubt it. So why even bother with it? Surely it would be better to just educate the players on expected standards of behavior as part of their entry into the NFL? The moral code just seems to be the NFL absolving itself of any responsibility, as normal. I am sure they are just bothered about getting the sponsors back, rather than doing the right thing.

Don't see the Packers doing that deal. #1 After last year, they learned they need a good backup plan for Rodgers. #2 Even though Cousins is a capable backup, they won't trade their only two other QBs for two brand new ones to their system in the middle of the season. Never going to happen midseason

To Washington: Terrelle Pryor
To Oakland: Kirk Cousins, 2015 5th/6th

To Miami: Kirk Cousins, 2015 5th
To Washington: 2015 5th, Matt Moore
OR:
Washington: Matt Flynn, Scott Tolzien
GreenBay: Kirk Cousins, Rex Grossman, 2015 4th/3rd

Washington signs Mat McBriar (P)

Pryor has already been waived and Cousins is worth more then that garbage. Cousins is going nowhere for that garbage you have tried to trade him for. Get a clue most of these players have either been cut or haven't played in the NFL for a year or two.

I realised that Pryor has been cut after I posted this. Please ignore the first trade, that's my mistake

Can we also ignore the rest of it as well

Cardinals may already be detaching from Fitzgerald
With a revised contract that dropped his 2014 cap number from $18 million to $9 million, Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald ensured that he'd spend another year with the team. The corresponding increase in his 2015 cap number to $23.6 million could make the coming season Fitzgerald's last season in Arizona.

At the Scouting Combine, Cardinals G. M. Steve Keim admitted that, to an outsider, it may appear that Fitzgerald won't retire with the Cardinals. For his part, Fitzgerald has said that he's focused only on 2014.

Jimmy Graham's deal is for four years and is worth $40 million, with $21 million guaranteed. Graham will get $13 million in Year 1, which allows him to avoid the franchise tag for 2015, and gives him the flexibility to hit the open market while still in his prime.
