Rosen is showing potential with an awful team. He deserves another shot and if he fails then Lawrence is there. It is a win-win for Miami to continue building a solid foundation.

This team has a lot of talent, but is still a year away. Good thing they have another 5 picks in the first 3 rounds of 2021 as well along with 66 million in cap space. This would be the correct way to rebuild imo.

Jets

SIGN
OLB Justin Houston 3 years $33 million ($16 Guaranteed)

TRADE
NYJ- #3
DEN- #10, #41, 2020 2nd round pick

NYJ- #15, #76
WSH- #10

NYJ- 5th round pick
BAL- Darron Lee

The Jets need depth. These trades give them a 2nd round pick (Traded theirs away to IND last year), an additional 3rd, and a 5th (traded theirs away). This allows them to fill their roster with young talent and provide depth to a solid roster.

DRAFT
1 (WSH)- Brian Burns, OLB
2 (DEN)- Caleb McGary, OT
3 (OWN)- Julian Love, CB
3 (WSH)- Daylon Mack, DT
4 (OWN)- Lamont Gaillard, C
5 (BAL)- Kahale Warring, TE

Burns steps in right away across from Houston giving the Jets two solid pass rushers.

McGary can immediately play on the right side giving the Jets a complete Oline.

Love and Mack provide depth behind McLendon and Poole (both on 1 year deals) and give them options next year.

Galliard and Warring are depth picks. These guys sometimes become more than you expect. Harrison resigned, but he is not a great option. Galliard can potentially replace him. Herndon is solid, but depth is needed at TE and Warring can block and catch.

QB- Sam Darnold
RB- Le'Veon Bell
WR- Quincy Enunwa
WR- Robby Anderson
WR- Jamison Crowder
TE- Chris Herndon
LT- Kelvin Beachum
LG- Kelechi Osemele
C- Jonathon Harrison
RG- Brian Winters
RT- Caleb McGary

LE- Leonard Williams
RE- Henry Anderson
DT- Steve McLendon
OLB- Justin Houston
MLB- CJ Mosley
MLB- Avery Williamson
OLB- Brian Burns
CB- Trumaine Johnson
CB- Brian Poole
FS- Marcus Maye
SS- Jamal Adams

They will not get Haskins at 6. Especially with Murray going 1. Miami, Denver and Washington are all suitors to move into top 5 for him.

Rosen would be the top QB available in this years Draft. Everyone thought Goff sucked his rookie year bc he played in a terrible system with a terrible coach. Rosen can be very good in the right system. He will not be traded for less than a 1st.

This was before i saw Philly did not Tag Foles. Now JAX just signs him instead and keeps their 3rd rounder.

Wouldn’t make any sense for the Jets. They’re rebuilding and Coates or DHB do not make a difference this year. Besides your valuation is way off, a 6th round pick would be the cost for one of those two.

Or they realize they have the successor to Brady. The Patriots found a franchise QB in round 2. If they move Garoppolo they will have to find another QB very soon. They would probably have to give up at least a few picks to get to the top of the draft to find someone who MIGHT be a replacement. Why not just keep Jimmy and let him back up Brady until he retires or gets hurt?
